While this recipe is a bit of a faff, the end result makes it worth it.  

 

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower head
  • 150g plain flour
  • 300ml plant milk
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Butter
  • Sriracha  

 

Method

  1. Chop/ break up your cauliflower head into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Mix together your flour, milk and herbs and spices.
  3. Dip cauliflower pieces into mix.
  4. Coat in breadcrumbs.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
  6. Melt your butter and mix it with sriracha.
  7. Remove cauliflower from oven and pour over your hot sauce.
  8. Bake again for another 20 minutes.  

 

Additional notes

  • I like to use panko breadcrumbs.
  • Use as much sriracha and you can handle.
  • If you want to serve it with a ranch like sauce, blend 150g cashews and 150ml plant milk with garlic, salt and chives.
