Ingredients

  • 320g vegan chick’n
  • 3-4 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 tsp chinese 5 spice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Onion
  • Green pepper
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • Tenderstem brocolli
  • 1/4 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1/4 tsp MSG (optional)
  • Spring onion  

 

Method

  1. Mix your cornflour, five spice and plenty of salt and pepper in a tub.
  2. Toss in your chick’n, ensure it’s well coated.
  3. Fry chick’n well in plenty of oil. Ensure it’s crispy on both sides.
  4. Remove from pan and fry onion.
  5. Add your pepper, garlic and brocolli.
  6. Season with chilli flakes, salt and pepper and MSG.
  7. Toss in your chick’n and spring onions and serve.  

 

Additional notes

  • I use what the cluck chick’n
  • I think we use about 1 tsp of both salt and pepper in the chick’n coating
